October, 2004 Journal of E-Government Editor-in-Chief Dr. Curtin again led a research team, which included Journal editors, to conduct the second annual global E-Government Survey for the United Nations Division for Public Economics and Public Administration (UNDPEPA). The 2004 survey is a global assessment of E-Government, which constitutes a large part of the UN E-Readiness Report due to be released later this year. Each of the 191 UN member states is carefully assessed and evaluated on how they utilize modern information and communication technology (ICT) to communicate, engage citizens, and deliver public information and services.
